writer. My name is Tim Graal. I'm the host and I am the struggling writer trying to get started

and figuring out how to write a book that works. And Sean Coyne is the expert editor, 25 plus years

in the business, author of the book, The Story Grid,

and he comes on and answers all of my questions, helping me become a better writer,

and I'm allowing you to listen in so that you can become a better writer next to me.

This episode was the hardest so far for us to record.

I guess I should say for me to record because we spent

most of the time ripping apart one of my scenes. So I wrote a first scene for a book that I want to

work on and I made a whole lot of mistakes in it. And so Sean really dives in with me and helps
