I'm Sharon Gilbert and I'm going to be talking about computers and artificial intelligence.

So let's just go ahead and get started.

We'll just ignore what old Mac is trying to do over here.

Somewhere, some when, perhaps at this very moment, a new God is waking up and its existence

is intended to forever remove mankind's free will by extension any chance we have for

eternal salvation.

This hybrid entity may be a spiritually possessed artificial intelligence, a biosynthetic

amalgam, or an uploaded human mind.

Regardless of the means by which this entity emerges, the image of the beast will arise, for it has been foretold

in scripture. And whereas thou sawest mixed with my, iron, mixed with miry clay, they shall

mingle themselves together with the seed of men, but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not

mixed with clay. That's from Daniel chapter two. And he had power to give life unto the image

of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation chapter 13.

These two passages, one from the Old Testament and one from the new, may be talking about the very same thing.

It's a moment in our very near future when the beast, that is the Antichrist,

who has died and revives, becomes an icon,

or image thanks to a magical working from someone called the false prophet who gives life to that image.

God created man to be his imagers, and mankind will do likewise, creating a brand new entity

in man's own image. The Greek word translated as life in Revelation chapter 13 is

Numa, which means breath or spirit. Sometimes this word refers to the Holy Spirit. Other times,
