Let me start with a question that I suspect a lot of people in the church who have not thought about the

connection between Christianity and Mormonism might hold and that is why do

Mormons need the gospel at all? Isn't Mormonism Christian? We get that a lot. A lot of

Latter-day Saints will claim that they are Christians too. In fact, Jesus Christ is in

the Church's name, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But the problem is that when

you get past the terminology, and we have similar terminology, when you say God, Jesus,

salvation by grace, the Latter-day Saint will say, well I believe
