Before Jen's trial was moved, both Jen and the government filed motions seeking to exclude certain evidence from ever reaching the jury's eyes. We discuss what that evidence is - and why Jen wants to keep it out while the government wants to rely upon it to put on their case. Not to spoil it, but the evidence includes Jen's supposed threats to Stu and his wife, missing account information for her bank accounts in Kosovo, clips from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and more! Jen also subpoenaed every co-defendant in the case for evidence and even subpoenaed ABC News for materials related to the Hulu documentary, The Housewife & The Shah Shocker - we explain what this evidence was and how we think it will play out.

0:37.9 | But since it got moved, they're going to have a bit of time to argue these and resolve them. |
0:42.1 | But they are very interesting. They're pretty juicy. |

0:54.9 | Brian Moilin's book about the Ro Housewives has cited multiple times. |
0:58.9 | There's claims that Gen. Shaw threatened Stuart Smith, Stu Chains and his wife, and they want to keep that out. |
1:06.9 | Lots of really interesting stuff. |
1:09.0 | So do you want to give an overview of the motions and limiting and what they are? |
1:12.5 | Yeah, so these are motions. When you have a jury trial, you file motions and limiting. |
1:17.2 | And that's when both sides say what they want to keep from being put in front of the jury. |
1:23.2 | So that the jury isn't prejudiced. There's an mistrial, things like that. |
1:27.4 | Because you can't unring a bell. You can't unhear or unseize things. |
1:31.0 | And so they make arguments saying, okay, well, the relevance of this is so low. |
1:37.1 | But the prejudice is so high that it shouldn't be admitted even if it is slightly relevant and so on and so forth. |
1:43.3 | So yeah, the law around this is that evidence can be excluded or maybe excluded if it's probative values substantially outweighed by the danger of unfair prejudice, |
1:51.1 | confusion of the issues misleading the jury or considerations of undue delay, waste of time or needless presentation of cumulative evidence. |
