Just a few miles off the Thailand coast, the island of Kothau looks like a postcard.

In the last 20 years dozens of tourists have died mysteriously on the island.

A dark cloud who's come over the island, death, mystery and danger.

Because we were born with these eyes.

Yes, absolutely.

And you know what is so funny when I was a little girl, I can remember people coming up to me, you know, at adults, like I would be in the store with my mom.

Yeah, and adults would be like, oh my gosh, your eyes are so pretty.

And I literally honestly had no idea what they were talking about.

I did not know that my eyes were green and that my eyes looked different from anyone else's.

So I literally would be like, are they talking about the shape of my eyes?

Did you all not have a mirror in the house?

No, we did, but I didn't know that I looked different.

Oh, okay.

You know what I had no idea that maybe because my brother has eyes, my mom has had eyes.

My grandmother has blue eyes, my cousin has blue eyes.

So maybe for me it's like, okay, everybody got light eyes.
