For those of you who don't know this setting, it has been running for over 10 years, and there have been tons of stories told in and around it.

In relation to Shadow War, the setting's most recent villain, which ran parallel with Shadow War, was a lich named Thadius, so he was the one that was messing everything up.

So that cliffhanger, if some of you heard about the whole Civil War with the Beast Men, he was behind doing all that stuff.

He was pulling all the strings. So, with some time passing in game, and some of the players unable to be gathered in time above game,

we're going to start with a bit of a bridge for those who previously followed the story and won a little bit of an update.

So, many heroes of the Shadow War banded together to assist the war effort that did eventually see the villainous Thadius and his forces totally defeated.

The felting blow landed by a where line of the Beast Camp named Jabari, who could only have done so due to the actions of the other heroes of the Shadow War.

And now we will hear where everyone ended up.

Following the news from Constable Selran of a Civil War, Ramorn Doomrunner helped to defend the encampment and found a new purpose in helping to provide care and shelter to the Beast Camp's many refugees.

Despite the threat of Thadius now behind them, the Beast Folk and Alpha can still struggle to restore much of what was lost, still keeping somewhat distant relations with the magical metropolis of Carol due to the past wars between them.

Ramorn doesn't seem to mind his new role as the Beast Camps have never felt more like home than they do right now.

As for the Tefling Lyric and her familiar flinch, they were placed under the protection of the Gold Swords, where she still keeps a low profile under the tutelage and training of Sir Rodric.

There she must remain legally until the magic hunting Corvidan Knights can clear her of all damages that may have been brought about by her usage of Blood Magic.

King did his best to avoid his old habits and offered up his services to Lady Olivia Drakis to help protect the city.

He managed to stay on the straight and narrow with Olivia keeping a close eye on the talented archer, busying him with many special missions far outside Carol's borders.

Constable Selran went back to doing what he has always seemingly done for Carol, disappearing into some noble's web of intrigue to bring about some sort of order

there often lawless actions, where he is now perhaps only a handful of souls or fewer could ever know.

In Redwood? Oh, sweet Redwood.

The tree-shaped druid finished aiding Eldrin in the mourn security force for a time, with Faddeus now defeated the world tree called Redwood below the stone forest in Carol to watch over and protect the most sacred artifact of the world tree, the heart of Cairo.

There, he slumbers for many seasons or more, keeping the wording magic ever vigilant as is his charge.

Now years deep into the king's age of beasts and some time after Faddeus's death, a new page turns in the saga of Carol and its shadow war, and with that I would like to turn it over to Zan.
