Welcome to episode 36 of the Authentic Sex Podcast.

My name is Juliette Allen.

I'm a sexologist, a sex and relationship coach, and a tantra practitioner.

And today I'm talking about sex as a healing modality.

Now, I've just come back from a month in India.

And I guess my time in India has really inspired this episode.

My partner and I spent time there.

I assisted on an Easter training, which is the International School of Temple Arts,

and my partner participated in the training.

And we had a really intense seven days exploring Tantra,

exploring our shadows, exploring shamanic spirituality, really diving deep into

like deep work on ourselves and then I guess having each other in the space was what made it even more challenging because it brought up stuff

as a couple. And throughout that time, yeah, we had a pretty intense time. And then we, once we'd

finished the Tantra training, we traveled through the south and the north of India and we

had heaps of time to integrate what we'd learnt. And over those days and weeks, we, um, yeah, I guess we

had some really awesome experiences, both, day-to-day basis in India with the beautiful people of India and also sexually.

And so, yeah, today I want to talk about sex as a healing modality and why I think it can be really

healing.

So I'm completely freestyling as usual.
