Summary

Chris Simms, fresh off his "promotion" of doing less work and getting paid the same, joins Stugotz, Taylor, and Mikey A to discuss how he plans to spend his Sunday's now that he isn't on Football Night in America.  Simms recaps his trip to London where he wore a suit to a soccer game and hung out with Sean McVey and Benedict Cumberbatch.  Plus, it's time for grass fields in the NFL.

Please be joined by Chris Sims this morning, the unbuttoned podcast, TFT every day with Mike Florio, and I can't say football night in America anymore. I am sorry about that, Chris Sims. I'll probably still say it, though. Yeah, yeah, it's all right. I expected you might say it. You know, you're like Ron Burgundy. You just read the teleprompter. It's one that it does hurt still. It really does. You know, I love being on that show. It stinks that I'm not. They had their little annual up front meeting, right? And they're taking pictures the other day and to not be a part of it for the first time. And I think eight or nine years, it stings a little bit, but we move forward. That's the way, what that's the way the business is. Mikey, you will laugh at this. I congratulated Chris Sims because he has less responsibilities and I believe the paychecks are still the same. So who cares? You're right. You're right about that. It's a promotion. Everybody thinks I got fired, right?

1:28.4

That's the one thing I've had to deal with. I've had people call me like, damn, you got fired, huh? And it's just like, no, no, no. Actually, nothing changes. I just not on football all night in America. And I've had that exact question. Well, do they pay you less now? Nope, nope. It doesn't mean anything. So yeah, that's why you're a great friend.

1:44.3

You put things in perspective.

1:45.7

They pay you in the same?

1:47.3

You're working less. Yeah. I am. Yeah. I am ultra excited to sit on, you know, be a Sundays, which I always kind of look at as a family day, and to be home and watch NFL football, that is definitely the silver lining of that. So there is a part

2:02.8

of me that's very excited for that, too. That was going to be my question. You know, as much as

2:06.7

it's going to suck for us, not seeing you up there, what's, what Sunday's going to look like now
