And I'm Chloe Mow.

And we're so excited to be hosting Vogue's new podcast.

So we want the show to be like the chitter-chatter at the end of the weekly Vogue features meetings where all the editors say what they're really feeling.

Exactly.

So this is basically the Vogue editors group chat.

Terrifying thought.

So Chloe, who are we?

Well, I started working at Vogue spring of 2011.

I was 25, the week of the Met Gala.

Wow.

And there's always a sort of frantic energy at Vogue, but that week particularly, there's

like an urgency and chaos that's really hard to describe or replicate.

This was at four times square.

It was sort of an era where everyone wore stilettos all day, and you heard like click, click, click, clack, clack,

clack, clack across the hallway. And the vibe was very much like being in the ER, but in heels.

And instead of gurneys, there were clothing racks. Everything felt like very urgent and intense.

And one of the few people that first week who did not exude that energy was Choma.

I was very appreciative of that calm port and the storm.

Oh, I think you handled it so well.

You always had such a – I just felt you glided in.
