Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, and the miracles.

So here's how this works. We are in the final few days of reading through the Gospels chronologically in the NIV.

We're reading the stories in the order they took place and we're going to read from all four books today.

And I'll share the references with you here at the beginning. You can find them in the show notes as well.

So today is September 28th and I'll be reading Mark 151, Matthew 271 and 2, Luke 2266 to 71, Matthew 273 through 10,

Very early in the morning, the chief priest with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin made their plans.

So they bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate from Matthew.
