Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of

the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ's

life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. Each month,

we read all four books. So go ahead and subscribe today. Join us as we read the Gospels together.

We are getting our way through September and October's coming next year. I'm going to love it. So

make sure you have subscribed. Here's how this works. As you know, this month we're reading through

the Gospels chronologically from the NIV, the new international version. So we're reading the

stories in the order they took place, which mixes together stories from all four books most days.

I'll show the references with you here at the beginning. We're going to only hit free books today,

but you can also find the references in the show notes or on your September reading plan or the

guidebook. You can listen or read along in your own Bible, and then I'll pray, and that's it.

So today is September 24th, and I'll be reading Mark 13, 1 through 23, Matthew 24, 1 through 25,

Luke 21, 5 through 24, Mark 13, 24 to 31, and Matthew 24, 26 through 35, Luke 21, 25 through 33,

Mark 13, 32 through 37, Matthew 24, 36 to 51, and Luke 21, 34 to 38, and Matthew 25, 1 through 13

in the NIV. Jesus foretells the future from Mark. As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples

said to him, look, teacher, what massive stones, what magnificent buildings. Do you see all these

great buildings replied, Jesus, not one stone here will be left on another. Everyone will be thrown

down. As Jesus was sitting on the mount of all of the opposite the temple, Peter, James, John,

and Andrew asked him privately, tell us when will these things happen? And what will be the sign

that they are all about to be fulfilled? Jesus said to them, watch out that no one deceives you.

Many will come in my name claiming, I am He and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and

rumors of wars, do not be alarmed, such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
