In 2 Corinthians, the 6th chapter, we began a few weeks ago a new series that we're calling

separate from sin, separate from sin.

And this is our foundation text here, 2 Corinthians 6 beginning in verse 14. I'll read from the new living translation

as you read whatever you have there. Second Corinthians 614 says don't team up with those who are

unbelievers. How can goodness be a partner with wickedness?

Now, he's asking us a question.

Anytime the scripture asks questions, you should endeavor to answer it.

So what's the answer there?

How can goodness be a partner with wickedness?

Well, it can't.

How can light live with darkness? It can't. It doesn't work.

What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? No. Well, you know what he's saying,

and he says it in different words. What about somebody who's yielding to the Christ and somebody who's yielding to the devil?

Will they get along?

No, they won't.

There's no harmony.

How can two walk together?

Except they be agreed.

There's got to be agreement.

You know, sometimes people say concerning men and women and dating and getting married and that kind of thing, they say, well, opposites attract.

Well, maybe in things that are not the most important.

But no, fellowship is based upon what you have in common, what you share in common.
