Early this morning, more than 16 hours into what's known as the Vodorama, senators are still

going.

They're voting on amendments to what President Trump calls his big, beautiful bill that

covers much of his agenda.

So far, they've taken up dozens of amendments, but none have passed.

Most are being put forth by Democrats who say they'll keep bringing up amendments to, as they put it,

show how awful the bill is, and they want to force Republicans to defend it.

But there are still a lot of closely watched amendments on the GOP side,

with Republican leaders trying to find a way to appease enough members to get the bill passed.

At this point, it's still not clear if there's enough support. No Democrats are expected to vote for

it. Also, some Republicans are taking issue with health care cuts, and others are worried about

its impact on the national debt.

But the Trump administration is still pushing Republicans to get the bill over the finish line,

saying it will lead to economic growth in national security.
