Have some fun topics today. First, the government is on the path to opening up. Hopefully, after lots of argument over the weekend, looks like the Senate has a path towards opening up the government. I'm going to get all the details from Eric on that one. The second is Trump throughout some economic proposals. Some might sound familiar to you if you waited until the end of Friday's episode. that's all I'll say. Before we get to that section,

Yeah. So massive vibe shift is how I'm going to talk about this from the Democrats this morning.

Last Tuesday, we were abulient. We were victorious. We were unified. The Democratic Party had never been stronger after the elections last week.

And this morning we get from Political Playbook. I will just read to you from Politico. The Democratic base is seething. Liberal social media is on fire this morning

with activists, pressure groups and wannabe Democratic senators and presidents falling over

one another to condemn the deal to open the government in ever louder terms.

Panelists on MSNBC are banging the drum about it last night.

Some are calling for Schumer to face the heat.

Instantly, it felt like a purity test.

Nobody hoping to get anywhere in democratic circles right now is permitted to be anything other
