In the wee hours of the morning, the Senate came together to sharpen their blade, place it firmly

against your back, and just slowly drive it in. The ultimate betrayal, but you know I

got to be honest, perhaps it's a bit unfair to claim that the Senate stabbed us all in the back, that we were betrayed,

because that would imply that these senators were on our side in the first place,

which they are not. Of course there are many that are. Rand Paul led an extraordinary filibuster attempt, didn't work, but 70 members of the Senate with

Joker-esque smiles on their faces said, labor your resources will go to Ukraine.

You know in 2013 I went to Ukraine.

You met many people, got to eat the food,

got to learn a little bit of their history

in the current politics and what was going on.

And I felt for the people there.
