Today, we're going to talk about two fascinating situations around the NFL.

Later, we're going to discuss the Buffalo Bills and what's happening with Stefan Diggs

with our Bills reporter Elena Getsenberg.

But first, we're going to discuss the Minnesota Vikings, a 13 and 14 that seems to be in perhaps

self-inflicted turmoil with how they're approaching their roster.

And joining us to talk about that as a frequent contributor to this show. One of the smartest

people covering the NFL. It does excellent work for us, not only covering the league as a whole

at hispan, but also covering the Minnesota Vikings. It's my friend Kevin Seifert. Kevin, how are you?

I'm very good, Bill. Thanks for having me. I hope you're well as well. Of course. I'm excited to talk to you.

I feel like I always learn something from you when I talk to you. And now I feel like I need to learn about what's happening with the Minnesota Vikings.

Because I understand we're going to get to their record and how maybe they are not as good as perhaps the record suggested.

But they are a 13 and 14.

They won the NFC North comfortably last year, and they are shedding pieces as we go through the offseason.

First, it was Sedarius Smith.

It appears that Daniel Hunter could be the third person in this group, but the second

person who was cut most recently is Delvin Cook. So, Kevin, let's start there, because the

Dalvin Cook situation seemed to be sort of looming with this team throughout the entirety of the

off-season and eventually led to a release several

days ago. So are you surprised it worked out this way? And what sort of led to the Vikings moving

on from Delphin Cook? I guess the only thing I was surprised at is that it extended into June.
