like to welcome him back for the first time as a member of the Cubs organization, Stephen Brault.

Hey, nice app. I didn't even notice that at first. Just wanted to make you feel

welcome. You're always on top of it, man. I appreciate that about you. I try. I try. Um,

so congratulations. Thank you. Right? Yeah. Yeah. No, it's, uh, it's been a blast here. Obviously,

it's not exactly the start that I wanted over here.

I can't wait to go over that story. But like the organization, the guys here, the women that are part of the organization,

I mean, it's been fantastic. I've loved getting to meet everybody. Now the team is gone.

So there's a few guys back here doing rehab as well as I. But other than that, I've really enjoyed it here. It's it's, you know, breath of fresh air, different. What was interesting, and this is, I guess I'll start with this, is that I came over to this organization figuring that they would sign people that I had played with before.

I have literally never played a single inning with anybody in the Cubs spring training.

Not a single person.

The closest I had was Michael Givens, who I played... Oh, Baltimore.

Technically, I was on a spring training team with for about a week in 2014.

Other than that, not a single inning, not a single person. It's crazy.

That is unreal. We are, by the way recording this on opening day

now and so i'm actually keeping an eye on my cleveland guardians as we're doing this is

my covey's already one solid first game five four beat corbin burns and brewers great look i know right

yeah so you did you watch as much as you could? I know you were kind of busy today.

Yeah, I actually had like a checkup MRI today.

I haven't gotten the results.

I'm sure it'll be good.
