As a Christian parent you want your kids to grab on to the faith.

I'm Jean Fuller along with Dr. Danny who heads up our parenting team here and

Danny it's really encouraging

to see even small steps toward God

as our kids get older.

Yes, there's such a joy to watch them pursuing their own relationship with Christ.

That's what I want.

I don't want it to be my faith that they're having.

I can influence that, but it needs to become what they want what they desire the

pursuit the thirst for Christ and I love seeing my daughter I just saw her this

morning she she was reading her devotions on the couch and it was her own doing.

She's been writing her own Psalms and she's going through the Psalms.

And it's just, what a joy to see that.

I'm so thankful to see her do that.

The other day, my son had a bunch of friends over college guys

that he knew and some others from the church young adult group

and normally I'll pray before dinner and he said I want to I want to

do the prayer today so he he stepped right in and prayed and and bless the food and I just loved taking that in. I enjoyed him, listening to him, talking to God in front of his friends and be bold with that. So I'm thankful.

That's a season where I sort of feel like John,

when he wrote first, second, and third John in the New Testament,

it's my children, you know, I have this great desire for you to walk in the faith.

That brings me great joy. I think that's the case for a lot of us parents as believers.
