Today we have an exciting new guest to the show who's going to help us make sense of the lines on our palms.

Helene Saucido is a hand analyst who provides private readings out of her vintage

camper and travels the country with her craft, lecturing and reading at shops and events

such as Bonnaru, Dirty South Yoga Festival and the

Lumi Summit. She also has a background in design and art direction with more than

ten years experience working with such brands as Turner Broadcasting Cartoon Network Latin America,

Steve Madden and McMillan Publishers.

And Helene is the author of a really cool book I think you guys are all going to love

called The Handful of Stars, a palmistry guide book and

hand printing kit.

I'm hoping you can just start off by telling people how you got started on this path of

Pomestry.

Sure, hi, thank you so much for having me.

So my path to Pomestry was a big surprise to me. It wasn't anything I ever thought I would do. I never thought I would say I'm a poem

reader. As you just mentioned, my background is in graphic design and art direction.

So five years ago, I was living in New York City

and I was art director of advertising and promotion

at McMillan Publishers, which at the time was located in the Flat Iron Building.

And that was a job I'd always wanted to get to.

I'd always love books and art director was my goal.
