There are definitely going to be times when the fear pours in, when our backs are to the wall,

when it seems like there is no hope, what do we do in those circumstances? Because Jesus Christ

finished this work and completed His Atonement, he understands how to help us with our own

insecurities and temptations. So whatever challenges or difficulties you face, you are known.

Your exact circumstance right now is present before God. And we can say that with confidence.

Friends, I want to talk to you about one of the greatest blessings of life, Costco.

I'm guessing that many of you have been to Costco and you love those samples.

You can walk in starving and walk out full, especially if they've got some of the bigger samples like takitos.

That's the one that I can't resist.

But sometimes, and maybe I'm the only one who does this, I just want to go back for a second sample. But I feel a little awkward, you know, are you allowed to do that? So I'll go up and I'll pretend like I'm reading the ingredients. I'm really interested. But the worker looks at me and she's like, I've seen you before. You're just the second sample guy.

I know who you are.

Now look, if the worst label or the worst name you ever called the second sample guy,

it's probably not too bad.

But once you leave the promised land of Costco and go out into that mean world out there,

there's other labels that can come our way that can be really hurtful,

dumb, underachiever, or worse. But what I want to talk about today is a label that God gave

Moses. He said to him, you are my child and I have a work for you to do.

Today, as we talk about identity, temptation, and glory,

we'll see how God gives us security in our identity,

and that strengthens us in the face of temptation,

allowing us to deepen our security in God as we give the glory to him.

So identity, temptation, and glory.
