by right, is our guest speaker, he and I are going to have a conversation

I'm going to practice a lot of active listening maybe pepper him with a few questions you've all read

Joel's bio online and you know that probably took you 10 minutes Joel has done so much he looks

very young but he's accomplished much in his life he and I have run into each other a number of times.

The thing that got us most recently acquainted is his oldest, Clint is your oldest?

Oldest son.

Oldest son.

His oldest son took my class, and I ran into him at a conference, and he said,

you know, my son is making us read this book, the whole family,

and he's given us all copies of this book, and he's really caught up in this thing,

and like, what are you teaching him?

And so we had some fun with that.

Joel started his career.

He got actually graduated from the other business school on the other coast, Harvard.

And he finished there in 1973, was it?

Join the Tramble Crow Corporation and had sort of a successful and

meteoric rise to the top and was the managing partner by the time he was, what,

38?

38 managing partner of the largest real estate development company in the world.

So hugely successful career.
