Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now. In 2021, Seattle reported

72 homeless encampment removals for the entire year.

Last year, the city removed more than 2,500 encampments.

The steady increase from that low in 2021 is the result of a change in approach from the mayor's office.

Whether it's successful, depends on who you ask.

The Washington State Legislature today will honor the life of Aishinor Ege.

The 26-year-old UW graduate was killed in Gaza last September by the Israeli military as she observed a peaceful demonstration.

Lawmakers have passed a House resolution honoring her life and activism, which they'll introduce at 10.30 this morning.

Capitol steps in Olympia. Boeing releases its first earnings report of 2025 this morning. Investors are

hoping it's better than the most recent one, which included a fourth quarter loss of nearly

$4 billion. In 2024, Boeing suffered its biggest losses since 2020 following two deadly crashes that killed hundreds of people.
