Hey all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious in the mundane

podcast. I'm your host Chrisi Dachols. I pray that you and yours have and are having a very Merry Christmas season even in the

midst of the challenges we are all no doubt facing in our world right now even in our

communities our homes I pray that you are being wrapped

up in the peace of God. If things have been hectic around you, I pray that he will even

use this time as a moment for you to stop and breathe in again what is true of

God and therefore what is true of you so that you can experience the peace that only he can give you.

As promised, today's episode will be a moment for you to do just that,

to stop and breathe, to reflect,

and then set your heart on truth

as you move forward into the new year. Before we begin I want to

invite you if you haven't already to enjoy our family Christmas special that is

still available now until January 1st. I won't go on and on about it but I just

want you to know how very intentional we were with this special we actually

thought of you the entire time of what you might need this season, even down to the last to tell how it looks, how it feels,

and what truth we unfold together in the night. Our hope was to bring the hope of Jesus to you. We were intentional in the songs we chose and even with what we call the

vignettes in the night, which actually turned out a little bit like a TV show, I must say.

But the intention was not to display us or our family

or where we live or what's going on in our world,

but it was to testify of God's faithfulness

at every turn to encourage you right where you are.
