The Hey all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nockels happy last bit of September to

all of you this month came and went in a flash as always but I know all of us are ready to

welcome in the fall season we've already had our first fire in the fireplace of the

fall season and the girls already asked about when we're

putting up the Christmas tree. I think we all just need a little Christmas right

this very moment but for now the changing of the weather outside from a scorching day. right to the spring moment,

but for now, the changing of the weather outside from scorching to I think I can actually breathe now

is good enough for me.

We've actually had some pretty cool nights around here.

I even had to put a little outdoor heating pad out in one side of the duck house for Hope and Dream.

Don't worry, it's actually made for animals.

And I covered it with hay, so as, you know, to hopefully protect it from having to clean it three times a day.

But at least I know that if they truly get chilly out there, they can go sit on that side of

the duck house and keep wearing.

We are also still patiently

awaiting the day that we're gonna find our first eggs out in the chicken house.

I keep going out there every day and just being like what is up ladies? It should

be any time now.

But while I'm ready for Christmas,

I have to say that I maybe have been thinking

about Thanksgiving more this year than I ever have.
