The Hello all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nachols I trust you are having a beautiful

week and that this podcast lands on good soil today in your heart. It's my favorite time of year. Fall

festivals have begun around our small town and finally the weather is

cooperating at least for the most part, to give us what we all

want.

The other day Nathan showed me a video on Facebook by a group called It's a Southern Thing. and the title of the video was when it's

fall in the south and it's where this gal wakes up on the first day of fall and

she grabs her favorite sweater and her orange floral scarf and she's obviously pumped that she's finally getting to wear it.

She switches out all of her various spices in the kitchen for this one gigantic jar of pumpkin spice.

She then adorns her dining room table with a quintessential orange pumpkin spice candle.

She throws on her ug boots to head out of her fall wreathed adorn door, only to meet the deafening sound of cicadas and insects,

and what appears to be two guys just dripping with sweat headed back from the pool with a beach ball.

It's so true when it's fall in the south.

Hopefully the weather will truly cooperate and start bringing us the real thing.

I wanted to thank you all so much for your prayers concerning our little Annie Rose.

When I posted that on Instagram, I absolutely had no idea that we would receive the response that we did and we felt

literally covered with prayer like a full-on village surrounded us from literally all

over the world and that I must say is the redeeming part of social media and I can't tell you how much we needed to feel

Surrounded in that moment it was huge for us. So thank you

The sickness that came upon Annie Rose honestly left as quick as it came on.

It puzzles us still all the why sort of around it happening, like how it just came out of nowhere.
