Having first been apparently cited in November 1966, on the outskirts of Point Pleasant

in West Virginia, the legend of the Mothman has only continued to grow, with countless

TNT area, where it was once thought to have resided.

There's even an annual Mothman festival held on the third weekend of every September,

to commemorate those strange few nights in 1966, when rumors about a terrifying, red-eyed,
