Royal Rumble is a pay-per-view.

And it begins this big four.

As years ago on, people always talk about Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor series.

This is the birth of the big four.

And for you, while you were working in the WWF, was it difficult for some people to wrap their heads around having

multiple pay-per-views in a year? Because WrestleMania was a success, but then slowly more keep

coming in. And are they all home runs? And that's why they're like, let's keep doing this.

Yeah, well, you have to think that this was, you know, paper views in their infancy.

I mean, you know, let's remember it wasn't too many years before that we'd seen, you know, closed circuit television.

Right.

And the WWE was in the forefront of this.

I mean, they really were among the first sports entertainment companies to do this kind of thing and grow with it.

Because, you know, they used to have, when they had the closed circuit, you know, you'd have to go to a theater to go and watch it and pay for it.
