And there's some news.

The Seahawks have signed, re-signed in some ways, Drew Locke, the quarterback, former

pick of the Denver Broncos, traded to the Seattle Seahawks as part of the Russell Wilson

deal, and then back up to Gino Smith before moving on to the New York

Giants. It is a many-layered bit of news, and I want to at least touch on a few things here

because the reality is Drewlock's signing is not some sort of bombshell event that deserves its own set of discussion.

But I think it's an interesting enough move that I wanted to spend a few minutes on it.

And I only have a few minutes.

So this is going to be a quick one.

We don't, I haven't seen yet what the dollars are going to be for Jewelock signing.

I'm assuming it's going to be under five million.

We'll see what the actual number ends up being.

But there's a lot of implications that come along with this move.

And the fact is that as of right now, the Seahawks have five, five quarterbacks on their roster.

You may not know that.

You probably knew about Sam Darnold, and I'm sure you knew about Sam Howell, the Sam's, as they like to be called.

But the Seahawks also had Jaron Hall under contract and on the team, a guy that they like.
