I am Phil Anderson, and today I'm going to talk about extending your brand by creating

and using GIFs.

Let's first get through the elephant in the room.

It's pronounced GIF with a soft G like GIF-y peanut butter and not a hard G like gift.

I will talk about two apps today, Boomerang and Jiffy.

I'll walk you through creating a short video through Boomerang and then creating a Jif through Jifi.

Boomerang was first on the scene through Instagram, and you can still create one on the Instagram

app. Hit the plus sign and look for the sideways 8. You can also download the Boomerang app,

which is how I create boomerangs. Now, Boomerang records a short one second video and turns that

into a looped four-second video. You will want to practice

at creating these boomerangs. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it very easy. There are a

plethora of ways to use this, and the more you try, the more your creativity will increase.

Next, open an account with Jiffy. Hit the green plus and add one of these

boomerang videos to create a new Jif. You can also add text, effects, and stickers to make them

unique to your brand. If you didn't use a boomerang video, remember they're the perfect
