On October 18, 1957, a young woman was born who would go on to commit a

horrible act after a lifetime of screaming out for help. So if you like your coffee hot, but

Lori Wasserman was born on October 18, 1957, and grew up in the north suburb of Chicago

called Glencoe, as the daughter of an accountant, Norman, and his wife, Edith Joy.

From a very early age, Lori was described as shy and withdrawn.

In 1975, she, despite her poor grades, managed to graduate from high school and, after attending Drake University to increase her GPA, transferred to the University of Arizona to get a degree in teaching.

It was here that she met and started dating a pre-med student whom,

according to the sources, she became very possessive with and demanding of.

By the summer of 1977, she had transferred schools once again

and took courses in home economics.
