I wanted to react a little to Coach McCarthy's roundtable from this morning, Tuesday.

It was about half an hour worth of questions.

And I did not sit at the table because I was doing radio at the time,

but we quickly replayed it and I listened to the whole thing.

And a couple little things stood out to me,

but all in all,

I didn't think it was massively noteworthy. The biggest thing was, it sounds like him and Aaron

Rogers talk all the time. So I know yesterday I brought up, if Rogers isn't in the mix,

maybe they'd pivot the cousins. And you have to have a backup plan. But even in the course of the last 24 hours, I just feel like this is as close to a done deal with Rogers returning than ever.

It basically said, yeah, I talked to him the other day.

I talked to him a couple times a week.

And who knows who else in the organization is talking to Rogers, you know, Cam Hayward, Omar, quarterback

coach, you know, new offense coordinator, D.K. Mike, I don't know. But more and more, it sounds

like there's constant communication between both sides, which implies to me that he's going to be back.

A couple other little things is, I'll be honest. I appreciate McCarthy every time I've heard him at the podium since being hired.

He goes out of his way to talk about the history here. Who helped build things? Tomlin, like he mentioned Austin, the defensive coordinator. Like, it's pretty clear,

and I'm sure ownership has a lot to do with it, that, hey, we had a good thing going here.
