0:00.0 | Welcome to Scoop, where you get the scoop on this week's news. My name is Jenna, and this is |
0:06.9 | Smarter News. Well, there is no rest for the weary. There's a reason why that saying exists, actually, and I think we're all |
0:22.3 | experiencing it right now. We have several weeks of breaking news and a lot of changes when it |
0:26.6 | comes to the 2024 election cycle. And that's really where we're going to focus today. So welcome. |
0:31.4 | It's great to have you guys here. Clearly, there's been some very big developments for the election |
0:37.1 | of 2024 this weekend. |
0:38.8 | We had President Joe Biden step back from the Democratic Party nomination. |
0:44.0 | We had his endorsement of Vice President Harris. |
0:48.0 | But even though we have that information, we still have a lot of unknowns. |

1:16.1 | change? You know, where were you when you found out, for example, there was an attempted assassination |
1:20.7 | on former President Trump's life? Where were you when he found out that President Biden was going |
1:25.8 | to step back from the party's nomination? You know, we're having a lot of these moments.
