Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of The Science of Skin.

Today's topic is retinols and their use.

And we will be discussing the literature around retinols and

vitamin A derivatives that has been published in the last five years, mostly in the, you

know, most recent two years, so 2020, 2021.

And I will be really addressing a lot of things, including the ones, like the retinol

products you might get from your dermatologist's office, as well as something you'd pick up

over the counter through a skincare line.

So I want to get started and I'm really going to make this episode very thorough and it's

going to be very science-heavy, so buckle in because I'm going to start from the beginning

and go all the way into the molecular signaling and all that good stuff.
