Eric, how are you? I'm well, Peter. It's a busy day. We thought it would be a restful, kind of sleepy Thanksgiving weekend. You know, I know you did stuff with your family, I did stuff with my family. And maybe the Bidens did stuff with their family, too.

Yes, they did.

They did indeed.

The pardon of Hunter Biden.

Everybody's talking about it.

We, of course, know a little bit about this because we've been on the story since 2018.

And there's quite a lot here to unpack that I think people aren't fully understanding. We love surprising you. You were out of the office a little bit last week. So what you didn't know is since you were gone, if you look, we swapped out the book in the background. Look what book we got back there. Oh, yeah. You got secret empires. To underscore how long we've been on this story. You know, Peter Schweitzer. It's got dust on it, right? Well, you know, that speaks more to the maintenance crew here. But, yeah, we have, Secret Empires came out in 2018. Yeah. I'm not mistaken, I believe it was your first number one of New York Times bestseller. It was. And that is the story that broke, or that's the book that broke the story of Hunter Biden, not just that he existed,

but that he had these business relationships in weird corners of the international business

world. And it seemed like he would be well positioned to make money off of attempting to

influence his father. And then, so we kind of came out with that story.

And then the New York Times did a piece on it. And for years, we just heard lots of different variations of there's nothing to see here from the Biden's. Right. Exactly. Nothing to see. But then they pardoned him this weekend. Suggesting that there may in fact actually be something to see. Right. There's something such a big deal to see that you need to give in legal immunity for a decades

worth of all the things that need to be seen there.
