You guys have discussed the whole giant situation, the statement from John Mara and Steve Tisch,

Joe Shane coming back. He did meet the media yesterday, meaning Shane, opened his press conference this way.

Good afternoon, everybody. I start off by saying I'm honored and humbled that John Merritt and

Steve Tisch would allow me to see this process through.

And what do you say, though, to the hardworking people that pay for the tickets,

four wins, another bad season?

To our fans, you know, I understand, you know, the wins haven't been, you know, what the

expectation is.

And, you know, I'm fortunate enough to be tasked with getting the organization and the franchise

back where it belongs.

And I think the one point of emphasis that we had was to continue to lead, continue to hold guys accountable, continue to hold people to the standard and don't, you know, there's no substitute for that, right? Don't accept anything less than that. We also heard from Malik Neighbors who, you know, was there yesterday. He got injured in the Charger game earlier in the season and he is looking forward to the future. Yeah, I'm very optimistic. I mean, we want to have the hopes that, you know, things going to be turned around. Things are going to be changing. And in order to do that, we got to do our job first. So I'm very optimistic. And the one thing in the statement, it was a very brief statement. It was like it was two paragraphs essentially.

They cited the importance of quote continuity and stability in the front office.

So, you know, I always screaming yell about that.

That you got to give guys an opportunity.

I thought Brian Davel had a long enough opportunity as a head coach.

Unfortunately, guys got hurt. He guys got hurt for them, and, you know, the losing just keeps

mounting and mounting and mounting.

So the owners feel like they have to do something, especially when it comes to the business

side.
