Good afternoon, everyone. It's Dr. Niagara again, our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

As always, the highlight of my week. I get a chance to talk about topics that I am passionate about

and continue our mission of demystifying, destigmatizing, and legitimizing mental health.

And I appreciate with sincere gratitude all of the people who are on this journey with us.

It's been really fun working with and talked to a lot of people, both Julie and myself,

who have decided to pursue careers

in the field of psychology, whether that's doing what I do as a neuropsychologist, going to the

field as a psychiatric prescriber like Julie, becoming an individual therapist. So it's been

really fun kind of working with, you know,

really a worldwide population. And what I found and talked with people from across the

globe is, is these are common things that are, we're all dealing with and not unique to any particular culture,

or not unique to any particular race, political opinion.

So mental health, it does come to us all.

And I was able to coordinate a time to talk with a psychology student in New Zealand.

It was kind of weird.

It was, I think, like 12 o'clock, my time on the East Coast in Massachusetts.

And it was, I think, 5 o'clock or 5. five 30 the morning on Friday.

And the topic that she wanted, you know, she had emailed me if we could chat and I said,

sure, and I happened to have some availability before my neuropsychievel.

And the topic came up and she's, I think, working on a paper in class about labeling in mental health.

And I want to know my perspective on it.

And I am a strong proponent of labeling.
