But, you know, John, maybe you can give yourself a brief introduction again.

You know, people hop around.

This episode, just so people know, wasn't planned.

We, like, got talking after the last episode.

And I said, after the 30 episode.

After the 30 episodes.

About all the things John wanted to say but didn't say. And so we decided we should give him some more time to say some things.

Can I introduce him?

Because I met John.

I don't even remember what year it was.

Trinity.

But I went up to Trinity Lutheran College where John was a student to teach a course on Melanchthon.

And was obviously in the first five minutes struck by a young man in the room who was smarter than I was,

and thus intimidated the rest of the class.

That was John Hoyum.

That's too kind.

The thing I remember about that time was that you and I ended up in kind of a heated argument about Lexeronday, Lex Credende.

One of my least favorite Latin phrases.
