I know we took a little break last week.

I had a, it was a health issue. I'm totally fine. But it wasn't like me taking a break because I wanted to go on vacation

or something. You did a long nap. Yeah. No. Miranda, we have a lot to get to today. We have

Eliana Johnson, who's the editor-in-chief of the Washington Free Beacon, and you can find her on X at

Eliana Johnson. I've known her a long time, and she's very smart. She hosts her own podcast all about

media and culture. But first, we have to talk about this new Netflix show Monsters, which is about

the Lyle and Eric Menendez story, which is a show that I was actually

really looking forward to watching because I really love Chloe Savignay. I'm like a super fan of

hers. I love her style. I love her movies. I just think she's like one of the great like outtors

of our time to use a fancy word, but she really is like an all-around artist. She likes

does fashion. She likes her. One of the ultimate cool girls. Yeah. I love her. I love everything.

She's and I really enjoyed her in The Swans. And I started watching this story, which I sort of remember,

like, it's funny, I went to lunch with my mom last week, and I remembered the Menendez

brother's story, like being in the lexicon when I was very young, because I was born in

1984, so it was like kind of like when I was like, and this happened in 1989, and I think

the trial was in 1996.

So it's like there was a lot of, it was like in the news a lot, and I just knew that they

killed their parents. I did not know all these like horrible, violent, disgusting, horrific, monstrous things that

happened to the brothers by both their parents. And like, spoiler, I didn't know this, but they were like very horrifically and violently sexually abused by their dad for their entire life. And when I say horrifically,
