I just felt very isolated, very alone, very hurt.

I didn't like the story God had written for me.

In this dark season, she even began to doubt God himself.

and get to know Monica Hall. Yeah, Nancy, in the early 2000s, Monica and her husband were preparing

for a life of ministry, but he wasn't a pastor just yet. During this time, God began working on

Monica's heart when she got a copy of your book, Nancy,

lies women believe and the truth that sets them free.

And I read it and it stepped all over my toes.

And when we're facing those trials, we're vulnerable to believe things that just aren't true.

So we tend to believe, for example, that if my circumstances were different, I would be different.

I wouldn't be reacting this way if something had happened or this had not happened.
