0:16.2	all the candidates are trying to position themselves in the field by contrasting themselves

0:23.0	You can learn a lot about a presidential nominee by their campaign announcement.
0:27.6	Each nominee puts a lot of thought into exactly what they will say and how they'll say it because they know they're introducing
0:34.2	themselves to the country so they make sure they get to the point to tell people
0:38.1	what their campaign is all about. The announcement sets the tone and lets the voters know their agenda and their hopes for the future of the nation.
0:47.0	Donald Trump said he was on a mission to make America great again.
0:50.0	Joe Biden said that the upcoming election was a battle for the soul of the nation.
0:55.9	You can think about Jesus' miracle of turning water into wine as his campaign announcement.
1:01.6	In that miracle recorded in John Chapter 2, he's telling us what his campaign is all about.
1:08.1	But Jesus isn't running for President of the United States.
1:10.9	No, he's assuming a position far more important and far more powerful.
1:15.0	He is claiming that he's the Messiah, the rightful king, overall creation.
1:20.2	What kind of king is Jesus? What kind of kingdom will he rule over?
1:24.8	Let's pick up the story in John Chapter 2, verse 1.
1:28.3	On the third day a wedding took place at Kaina in Galilee.
1:32.2	Jesus's mother was there and Jesus and his disciples had also been
1:36.2	invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus's mother said to him, they have no more wine.
1:42.3	Woman, why do you involve me? Jesus replied.
1:46.0	My hour has not yet come.
