And all around the country, any day that tens of thousands of people gather in front of the White House, Trump's White House, to chant shame, shame, shame is a good day.

The Women's March, the March for Science to People's Climate March, good days.

This weekend, tens of thousands of LGBT people marched in the streets, taking part in the equality march in D.C.

And that made this particular good day, last Sunday, all the sweeter.

Of course, queer people have been a big part of every march since Trump was inaugurated,

but it was important to see queer people out there marching under our own banners.

So a big thank you to everyone who marched.

And because it's June, June, June, just because it's June, queer pride parades are busting out all over.

That was a little musical theater reference there in honor of the Tony Awards, which also took place on Sunday.

Congrats to all the winners and all the nominees.

Anyway, whenever June rolls around, when June busts out, I inevitably get a burst of emails and calls from coolest straight people, new listeners and new readers, wondering why we have to have gay pride parades.

You don't see straight people marching in the streets to celebrate straight pride, do you?
