I got married last week, remarried, renewed my vows, married the same bastard again.

In some states, you can't marry the same person more than once.

When you go and get the marriage license, they ask you if you are already married.

And if you are already married, you may not have a brand new marriage license. But in Washington

State, they just ask you if you're married to anyone else. And I was able to honestly say, no.

And so we got our marriage license.

Terry and I got married at City Hall.

And a lot of people were calling and wanting me to talk about that on the podcast.

They want to hear about the big day.

And I was going to talk about it at the top of the show.

I had some thoughts about marriage equality coming to Washington.

Marriage equality, of course, coming to Maine and Maryland very shortly and some things I wanted to say.

But I just can't bring myself to talk about it in the wake of the school shooting in Connecticut,

in the wake of our latest gun-enabled massacre.

On the same day that this lunatic walked into a school with a couple of guns and murdered scores of children,

a lunatic walked into a school in China with a knife.

22 children were stabbed by that lunatic in China.

Nobody died.

Nobody is having to bury their child.
