As you may know, a few weeks ago, my husband in Canada, boyfriend in America, and I launched a little project that we called the It Gets Better project on YouTube.

And it kind of took off and went viral.

And so I recorded some shows in advance and I was traveling and I had the flu.

So I haven't actually done a new show since that show where you heard me say,

Let's do something about these teen LGBT suicides. And that was before Tyler Clemente,

before Asher Brown, before Seth Walsh, before a whole bunch of others that we hadn't even found

out about yet. We launched the project in reaction to the suicide of Billy Lucas and Justin Aberg.

And to describe the campaign as a success would be an understatement.

Of course, I would much rather there be no need for a campaign like this.

But since there is a need, I am, of course, thrilled.

That sounds wrong in the context of youth suicide.

But I am pleased and heartened that it took off the way it did.

And everyone from Buck Angel, transgender

porn star to Barack Obama has recorded It Gets Better Project videos with messages for LGBT kids. Now,

anybody who follows me on cable news programs on our finer cable news networks knows that I am a

critic of the Obama administration when it comes to LGBT rights.

I just want to say that I was thrilled with Obama's video and I've gotten some emails
