It all started because of a fight over a girl.

That's Kea La Somria. Her husband's little brother was having an affair with his cousin's girlfriend.

Someria says the affair started last year.

When the cousin found out, he was not happy. He sent threatening text messages, letting Somria's brother-in-law know how he felt. Rather than call the police, they decided to take

matters into their own hands. Somria says that's because they didn't want to get anyone in trouble.

The brothers had also moved to the U.S. from Nicaragua when they were children, taken in by the federal government as unaccompanied minors and were working on getting their legal status.

Somria says her husband, Jason, Riz Rodriguez, wanted to confront the cousin head on.

So he and his little brother, the one who had the affair piled into a truck with other relatives. Then they drove to the cousin's house. I don't know, I don't know like the fool, you know, whatever, but, you know, like, it was just that my husband had gone because he was going to go talk to him, you know, like, try to like, you know, save the peace.
