Good morning, yeah, you put me in the middle of the extreme heat risk across the nation today, and it stretches out off to the east over the next couple of days.

Some unfortunate news, though, from the Upper Midwest during the overnight, the National Weather Service this morning confirming that two are dead from a tornado that struck a home in North Dakota.

That part of a larger complex of Doratio that went over 300 miles produced winds anywhere from 70 to 106

miles per hour that's not even in the areas that were tornado-worned. Those were just severe

thunderstorm winds, but yes, here is that heat dome stretching about 900 miles out to my west

to the front range of the Rocky Mountains, 900 miles out off to the east to New York City, 900

miles off to the south, all the way to the Gulf,
