Where do you what do you get the idea for your sound? I mean, are you? Did you go? I mean, it's a sort of a hip hop situation

But it's kind of a tripped out kind of stony situation too. What's your background and musically and sort of socially that brought you into that?

Well, I grew up in kind of a jazz family. You know, Alice Coltrane was my great aunt. Oh, wow. Yeah, and you know, I grew up with music kind of being a very spiritual thing and my house and in my life.

Are you familiar with the church of John Coltrane? How do you feel about that? I understand. I understand.

Alice Coltrane is the, I just had a brain fart. Alex, we start this thing over. She is the, she is the, I think I got a contact. Hi, she is the Joe Anna Newsom of Coltrane's.

Every record. Yeah. I mean, it's in its weird because as I get older, I can appreciate it on different levels. You know, I can respect the music on different levels and understand a little bit more of the musicianship and and what it took to get to those places.

Not just, you know, with discipline and all that, but also spiritually and. Right. Yeah. That love supreme is like if you have ever heard a love supreme Neil or Doug. Yeah. Or Sasha. It's pretty intense, man. You sit down and listen.

It's like being in somebody's psychedelic trip. It's like what just happened to us. Yeah. Yeah. Are you are you able to sample her music without worrying about copyrights and stuff?

Do you have carte blanche on that? Yeah. Actually, I do. Are you serious? Yeah. Yeah. I have. I have. You know, I kind of make it a point to keep her music with me too. And I try to feature a little bit, even just like the subtle this hint of it.

Because you don't really do a lot of sampling, right? You kind of play it all. I actually do a lot of sampling too, but actually 100% wrong.

Do we do that? No, because I hung out with you before. I thought I was asking you about that. Yeah. I do. I do it. You know, it's 50 50. You know, whatever the day calls on, man.

Do you have a background in rave stuff at all? Yeah. You do. Yeah. I mean, because I got that vibe too. That kind of chill. It reminds me of being in chill rooms and raves in the my past.
