0:19.0	Before we dive into Colossians for today, let's think together about one relationship that could be better if we paid more attention to what we were saying and how we were saying it.
0:26.1	Maybe you wouldn't try to avoid this person as much.
0:29.0	Maybe there could be less tension.
0:31.0	Maybe things wouldn't be so volatile. Maybe they wouldn't be awkward or even shallow.
0:36.9	If you paid more attention to your words, what could happen?
0:40.8	Okay, do you have it? Do you have that relationship? I have mine in mind. Today we're talking about
0:46.2	a verse in Colaians 4-6. Sounds like this. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
0:58.6	I have a hard time being gracious some of the time. I can't imagine doing it all the time.
1:04.0	But apparently, Paul is saying here that salt is an important factor.
1:08.0	Let our conversation, our speech, be seasoned with salt.

1:16.6	answer each person. Salt. Salt is an amazing spice. After watching Rachel Ray for a solid decade I keep my

1:33.6	I only use a measuring spoon when absolutely necessary like in baking and I never use a

1:41.7	and bought a shaker to have while she's here.
