So we always love to start these episodes with asking our guests their origin stories.

And it's usually our guests are writers.

And so we ask them, how did they get started in this book world of publishing and writing books?

One thing that I don't think we've ever asked each other is our origin story as readers. Right.

And I think for me, like, it goes back to even picture books that I remember, like, Go Dog

Go and Are You My Mother? Do you remember? I know, are you my mother? I remember these books and

being like, this is a, I would read them, even though I couldn't read, but I would take them aside. And my mom would just say,

he's reading, but he doesn't know. Yeah. And then I think about, like, the wonderful Wizard of Oz series
