0:00.0	Welcome back friends to Short Stories for Kids. Sarah woke up startled and stumbled out of bed. The whole earth seemed to shake.
0:19.8	She quickly dressed and ran downstairs where her parents were already waiting.
0:24.8	What's happening? asked Sarah frightened.
0:27.8	I don't know it seems to be a very strong earthquake.
0:30.8	We have to get to safety! Her father Paul shouted back trying to drown out the noise.
0:36.4	Come on quickly into the kitchen under the table said Sarah's mother Mary pulling them both
0:42.0	behind her just as she had found shelter under the table,
0:45.6	Paul's mobile phone suddenly rang. He answered it immediately and listened to a panicked voice.
0:52.0	Yes, yes, of course. I'll be right there.
0:55.0	Paul replied and hung up.
0:57.0	What happened? asked Sarah.
1:00.0	Paul swallowed for a moment.
1:02.0	The hospital, the earthquake caused parts of it to collapse,
1:05.6	and several people are trapped under the rubble. We have to try to rescue them immediately.
1:10.7	I'll go there now. You stay here in safety. I'll contact you when everything is safe," said Paul and ran outside.
1:18.0	Mary and Sarah remained sitting under the table for a moment.
1:21.0	Then Sarah stood up determinedly and grabbed her jacket.
1:25.0	Sarah, wait, where are you going? shouted Mary. I might be able to help. I'll take care of myself.
1:32.0	Sarah replied and left the house. able to help. I'll take care of myself."
1:32.8	Sarah replied and left the house before her mother could stop her.
1:36.8	Sarah ran through the streets towards the hospital.
1:40.0	There were cracks in the asphalt everywhere and she had to be careful not to fall.
