I firmly believe when you look at our team that we had last year, I think we're a top five team of all time.

And I tell my boys this all the time.

Like, if you really look at the season outside of the first four game, like, it was belt-to-ass.

How dominant you guys were on defense and how dominion we're on offense and special team,

people don't realize how great of a team that actually was.

We were working together.

Yeah. actually was. We were working together. Yeah, yeah. Obviously, I have training camp, but like, it's kind of different and it's just in-game. Like, how your coach really is, like, how's he

calling the game, like, getting used to that and kind of getting used to the guys you play with.

But after the bye week, I like, we just all bought in. We just bought in. I think we all just

bought in. And, like, you hear, like, the outside noise and expectation. We didn't care how it looked. The only thing we cared about was winning football games.

And when you have the talent, skill that we have in our team,

mixed with the coaches, we all play together like how we played.

Like, teams really stood no chance.

That was Saquan Barkley on a podcast with Reed Blankenship in Cooper DeGine. It was a podcast called

Exciting Mic's. He said that about a week and a half ago, and obviously I was out last week

and didn't have a chance to sort of respond to it. But I saw this and I'm like, look, Sequin Barclays a young man. He is probably

not a football historian. He probably doesn't remember as much as many of us do. The interesting

thing is if you just go off of the Super Bowl appearance and the Super Bowl performance, man, if that was your only impression

of the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles, that's a hell of an impression. Because that is one of the most,

if not the most dominating defensive performances, I think, in Super Bowl history.

Now, the final score and the final numbers don't reflect that because the score was 40 to 6,

people.
